Phone Mediation works on the same principle as Mediation Settlement conferences but obviously the work is done over the telephone. There are many reasons to use phone mediation, such as the cost is more proportionate to the amount in dispute, such as in a fast track case. Alternatively a meeting may be impracticable because of geography or many other reasons.
The mediator will contact both parties individually to set up a mutually desirable time for further calls and then send out guidelines and instructions for the mediation along with the mediators qualifications. The mediator will help both parties reach an understanding and a mutually agreeable resolution.
Phone Mediation is an acceptable and recognized form of argument and dispute resolution in all 50 states.
A Matter of Mediation will do phone mediation worldwide, and has had clients as far away as Europe. Our mediators are available to mediate any dispute.
